Crash closes several southbound lanes on US 95 between Valley View, Rancho

A wreck that hospitalized three people, one in critical condition, closed multiple southbound lanes on U.S. Highway 95 between Valley View Boulevard and Rancho Drive on Thursday, the Las Vegas Fire Department said.

Only one lane was open and drivers should expect long delays, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada said about 12:30 p.m.

Nevada Highway Patrol troopers were called to the crash about 11:45 a.m., NHP’s website shows.

The three-vehicle wreck sent three people to University Medical Center, the fire department said. The person in critical condition had to be extricated from their vehicle.
