ROUNDUP: Burks, Arbor View boys race past Trailblazers

Justin Burks poured in 27 points Wednesday, and Arbor View’s boys basketball team jumped out to an 18-point halftime lead and downed host Durango, 87-73.

Charles Porter had 20 points for the Aggies, which led 41-23 at the half. Navonte Hill and Terrell Butler each scored 16 for Arbor View.

Da’jon Streeter scored 31 points, and Tyler Watts compiled 19 points and eight rebounds for Durango.

Dartangan Rollins had 10 points for the Trailblazers.

Foothill 71, Basic 67 — At Basic, Austin Starr drained seven 3-pointers and had 24 points, helping the Falcons defeat the Wolves.

Chris Echols added 10 points for Foothill, which trailed by one at halftime and outscored Basic 18-11 in the third quarter.

Devonte Boyd led Basic with 25 points and six assists. Isaiah Villaros supplied 16 points and nine rebounds, and Antraye Johson added 10 points for the Wolves.

Las Vegas 71, Canyon Springs 65 — At Las Vegas, Aziz Leeks scored 19 points as the Wildcats edged the Pioneers.

Re’Kwon Smith added 14 points, and Leo Goodman supplied 11 points for Las Vegas.

Chris Swanson had 18 points to lead Canyon Springs, which got 15 points from Shaquile Carr and 10 points from Darrell McCall.

Eldorado 77, Coronado 66 — At Coronado, D.J. Billingsley scored eight of his 24 points in the fourth quarter as the Sundevils rallied from a 51-47 deficit to down the Cougars.

Dwayne Tillman added 14 points, and Jayveon Brown scored 13 for Eldorado, which got 11 points from D’Quan Crockett.

Justice Augmon had 24 points, and Charlie Teixeira scored 15 for Coronado. Jordan Willis supplied 14 points for the Cougars.

Shadow Ridge 68, Sierra Vista 58 — At Sierra Vista, Serph Decker had 23 points, and the Mustangs used a 45-24 burst in the middle two quarters to top the Mountain Lions.

Terrell Bowden and Kealyn Butler each added 18 points for Shadow Ridge.

DeJuan Smith registered 16 points, and Christian Tirol scored 11 for Sierra Vista, which got 10 points from Alec DeMarrias.

Liberty 51, Del Sol 35 — At Del Sol, Dartivius Young scored 12 points, and Jeremy Lontayo and Zach Johnson added eight points each as the Patriots upended the Dragons.

Liberty trailed 10-4 after one quarter and 18-16 at halftime, but outscored Del Sol 35-17 in the second half.

Tyrone Rouse scored nine points for Del Sol.

Green Valley 63, Silverado 26 — At Silverado, Tyler Roberts had 19 points to lead the Gators in a rout over the Skyhawks.

Kenan Haywood added 11 points, and Ikaika Pladera supplied 10 points for Green Valley, which led 28-2 after one quarter.

Valley 70, Rancho 22 — At Valley, Ryan Johnson had 13 points as the Vikings breezed past the Rams.
Spencer Mathis added 10 points for Valley.

Josiah Timpson led Rancho with 14 points.
